Commencing students

Continuing students

Continuing students who are in financial need may be eligible for a range of scholarships, bursaries and other financial support.

Honours students

Some faculties offer Honours Programs that gives outstanding students the opportunity to accelerate their study progression and complete a bachelor degree and honours over three years.

Postgraduate students

Scholarships play a significant role in the financial support for postgraduate and research students. QUT has a range of scholarships on offer for postgraduate coursework and research higher degree students.

Research students

QUT presents a wide range of prestigious scholarship opportunities for Postgraduate Research students to consider.

Indigenous students

As well as the various scholarships open to all students QUT offers a variety of scholarships for Indigenous students.

International students

QUT offers a number of prizes and scholarships for students who are not permanent residents or citizens of Australia.

Low-income students

Scholarships and bursaries are awarded to students experiencing financial hardship and to assist such students to focus on their studies.

Sporting Scholarships

Sporting scholarships are available for student athletes while they are attending and representing QUT.
